What is a Widget?

Widgets are tiny, self-contained web applications - Apps for your website. There are thousands available, and most are free. Such widgets usually come in the shape of a small code snippet for you to paste into an appropriate spot on your web page.

FirstMagic has it´s own modular Widget System. It makes it easy to construct and distribute your own ready-to-use Widgets in a nicely packaged format, without any coding knowhow, and without the need to mess around with Literal HTML in your documents. These can be dropped into Website Footers, Website Sidebars, and into Digital Signs Calendars.
